31-year-old Ericson Bear, a Red Earth Cree Nation resident, was fatally hit by a vehicle on Highway 163 in February 2024. The hit-and-run incident remains unsolved, with the vehicle not stopping at the scene. Saskatchewan RCMP's Prince Albert General Investigation Section has been actively investigating and will be present in the Red Earth Cree Nation community this week. The police encourage anyone with information related to the case to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
