34-year-old Emmanuel Youngblood from Troy, AL was sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison and 5 years of supervised release for possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. In November 2022, police found over 500g of meth, a digital scale, and other controlled substances hidden in a microwave dinner box during a search of his vehicle. The Troy Police Department and Drug Enforcement Administration investigated the case, which was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Mark E. Andreu and B. Chelsea Wilson.
