2 Somali men in Tucson, Arizona pleaded guilty to conspiring to support ISIS in Egypt and face up to 20 years in prison.
Two Somali men, Ahmed Mahad Mohamed and Abdi Yemeni Hussein, both living in Tucson, Arizona, pleaded guilty to conspiring to provide material support and resources to the Islamic State (ISIS) in an effort to travel to Egypt and join the terrorist group in the Sinai Peninsula. They were arrested by the FBI before boarding their flight to Cairo. They face a maximum of 20 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and will be deported to Somalia after serving their sentence.
