Pakistani President and Senate Chairman met with Masjid-e-Nabwi Imam to emphasize unity among Muslim countries and strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia ties.
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani met with Dr. Salah bin Muhammad al-Budair, Imam of Masjid-e-Nabwi, in Islamabad to emphasize the need for increased unity and cooperation among Muslim countries to overcome challenges facing the Muslim Ummah. Both Zardari and Gilani praised the strong partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, expressing hope for further growth in bilateral ties. The Imam of Masjid-e-Nabwi expressed gratitude for the support of Pakistan and highlighted contributions of the Pakistani community to the development of Saudi Arabia and the reforms initiated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud. All parties expressed their desire to further deepen the friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reiterating their commitment to working together to achieve shared goals and address common challenges.
