Janaagraha Centre's evaluation finds the Greater Bengaluru Governance Bill, 2024, scores 3.35/10, only slightly better than the 2020 Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Act. The proposed bill falls short on metropolitan governance, integration, coordination, transparency, and accountability, as well as lacking provisions for urban planning, training, and digital governance policy.
