Ghana's Special Prosecutor cleared former President Mahama of Airbus scandal allegations.
Ghana's Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, has cleared former President John Dramani Mahama of any allegations in the Airbus scandal. The investigation by the OSP found no wrongdoing against Mahama, despite confirming that Mahama was the individual referred to as "Government Official 1" in the UK court and "Individual 1" in the US court. Airbus paid or attempted to pay millions in bribes to secure contracts in five countries, including Ghana, which led to a £5 billion fine by a British court.
