Epic Games plans to sell future expired Fortnite battle pass items in the in-game shop after 18 months.
Epic Games will allow future Fortnite battle pass items to be sold in the in-game shop after 18 months from their expiration, aiming to reduce the fear of missing out on exclusive items and allowing the company to continue investing in new rewards and licensed character outfits. The decision, announced on 17 August 2022, will not affect past battle pass items. Items eligible for sale in the shop include outfits, back blings, pickaxes, Emotes, Instruments, Decals, Wraps, Loading Screens, Banner Icons, and more.
