Epic Games announces Disney collaboration for Fortnite's Chapter 5, Season 3, offering in-game rewards for live-stream viewership.
Epic Games, Fortnite's developer, will reveal updates at D23 Expo's live event, collaborating with Disney again for Chapter 5, Season 3. A live stream at the event will give players a chance to earn XP and a Peelverine Plush Back Bling by watching for at least 10 minutes, available in September. Disney will also live-stream a portion of "Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase" exclusively in Fortnite from August 10 to 16, with players receiving the Peelverine Plush Back Bling and XP if they visit the island for 10 minutes on August 16. This marks a first-of-its-kind live-streaming method to engage fans who cannot attend in person.
