Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) reports a 7.3% increase in first half 2024 revenue to AED 13.7 billion, driven by higher demand for electricity, water, and cooling services. EBITDA reached AED 6.6 billion, up 8.9% year-on-year, with operating profit at AED 3.3 billion and profit after tax at AED 2.6 billion. By 2030, DEWA aims to reach an installed power capacity of 20 GW, a water production capacity of 735 MIGD, with 5.3 GW from renewable sources and 27% of total capacity.
