Boeing Canada invests CAD 61M in British Columbia for military surveillance plane contract.

Boeing Canada is investing CAD 61 million in British Columbia to support its multibillion-dollar contract with the Canadian government for new military surveillance planes. The investment will be allocated to an aerospace manufacturing training facility, research and development, and to support Indigenous-owned COTA Aviation. This investment follows Boeing's commitment to invest CAD 5.4 billion in Canada over a 10-year period, supporting 3,000 jobs and utilizing domestic suppliers.
