2,555 Alto K10 cars recalled by Maruti Suzuki due to potential steering gearbox defect.

Maruti Suzuki recalls 2,555 Alto K10 cars due to a potential steering gearbox defect. The issue, though rare, could impact the vehicle's steerability, prompting owners not to drive the vehicles until the part is replaced. Maruti Suzuki's authorized dealer workshops will contact customers to arrange free inspections and replacements of the faulty part as a precautionary measure for customer safety. This is the second recall for the carmaker this year, following a recall of over 16,000 Baleno and WagonR models due to a defect in the fuel pump motor.
