36-year-old Whitney Jay Owens from Vansant, Virginia, was arrested and charged with a Class 2 felony after police found 43-year-old Robert Bruce Jones II with life-threatening stab wounds following a fight. The incident took place on Deer Trail Road, and Jones was airlifted to a medical center. Owens appeared in Buchanan County General District Court and was held at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority's Haysi Facility.
