73-year-old James Grover Sr. was fatally struck by driver Ginger Clausen at 7th Street and South Federal Avenue in Mason City. Grover was walking east and died despite being taken to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. Clausen will be charged with striking a pedestrian, and the incident was investigated with help from a passing motorist's dashcam video and local emergency services.
