Reliance Industries plans to launch its first solar giga-factory in Jamnagar by the current fiscal year (FY25), producing solar components including PV modules, cells, wafers, ingots, polysilicon, and glass. The company has received BIS certification for its solar panels and is part of the government's PLI scheme for electrolysers and green hydrogen production. Reliance aims to become the largest renewable energy developer in India, targeting 100GW of renewable energy installations by 2030.
