Music psychology professor discovers formula for perfect children's song with characteristics aiding early development.
Music psychology professor Dr. Michael Bonshor at the University of Sheffield discovered a formula for the perfect children's song, which includes a 60-120 BPM tempo, marching or swaying rhythm, repetition, rhyming lyrics, high pitch, bright tone, simple structure, and a limited number of notes. These characteristics, similar to those in songs by Queen and Beyoncé, not only entertain children but also aid in their early development, improving motor skills, coordination, and cognitive development. 74% of parents believe music assists in their children's development.
