Mumbai's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a case against BMC official Mandar Tari and two others for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 2 crore to avoid taking action against a real estate builder for constructing illegal floors. The arrested individuals accepted the first installment of Rs 75 lakh on Tari's behalf. The developer reported the corruption to the ACB, triggering a trap and the arrest of the accused.
