BIA Advisory Services forecasts a $171bn US local media revenue in 2025, with digital ads projected to surpass traditional media in 2025, capturing 52% of the total local ad spend ($89bn), versus traditional media's 48% ($82bn). This includes a 4.2% growth in radio digital ad spend to $2.9bn and a 1.6% decline in AM/FM ad spend to $10bn. The report also predicts a 21.3% increase in 2024 local political advertising spend to $11.7bn.
