Azerbaijani Ambassador to NATO, Jafar Huseynzade, and his wife were robbed in Brussels, Belgium on August 5th. The attackers stole their belongings, including Rolex watches, and injured the couple. Belgian police are investigating the incident, while the Azerbaijani embassy contacted Belgian authorities to demand measures under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
