Apple Hospitality REIT (NYSE:APLE) reported a Q2 EPS of $0.31, missing the consensus estimate of $0.44 by $0.13, while generating $390.08m in revenue, slightly above analyst expectations. Despite the earnings miss, the firm announced a monthly dividend of $0.08 per share. Apple Hospitality REIT's CEO, Glade M. Knight, purchased 5,000 shares of the company's stock, raising his total ownership to 631,990 shares.
