Africa Finance Corporation receives new equity investment from Democratic Republic of Congo's Rawbank, strengthening AFC's position in Central Africa.

Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) receives new equity investment from Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC) leading bank, Rawbank, aligning with AFC's strategy to mobilize African capital and diversify its base. This follows the DRC government's capital injection in 2022 and strengthens AFC's position in Central Africa. Rawbank's investment will enable the bank to finance large-scale projects to transform DRC's economic landscape. AFC, founded in 2007, has invested over US$200m in the DRC and has an investment pipeline of US$850m in the near-to-medium term.
