64-year-old man threatened with knife during attempted armed robbery in Rutherford, NSW; incident occurred on Waterworks Road on August 5 at 11:30 pm. Police believe it may be linked to three previous break-ins on the same road in July and August. Suspect is described as 187 cm tall, medium build, light brown hair, last seen wearing dark grey hooded jumper, light grey tracksuit pants, and dark shoes. CCTV footage has been released and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Port Stephens-Hunter Police or Crime Stoppers.
