Mystic Aquarium releases cold-stunned Kemps Ridley sea turtles, fitted with trackers, after rescue in Cape Cod.

Mystic Aquarium in Rhode Island released two critically endangered Kemps Ridley sea turtles, Dutton and Argo, after they were rescued from a cold-stunning event in Cape Cod. Both turtles were fitted with trackers to study the impact of warming sea water on their behavior and migration patterns. The endangered species faces various threats, such as habitat loss, pollution, and boat strikes, and each turtle has the potential to lay hundreds to thousands of eggs, contributing to the survival of the species.
