A fire erupted at the historic Carlton Place building in Glasgow's Gorbals area, near the River Clyde. Firefighters contained the attic fire, and MSP Paul Sweeney urged immediate council intervention to save the building. The fire affected both residential and business properties nearby, and fire crews were thanked for their efforts in containing the flames.
