18-year-old and 29-year-old drug suspects, identified as drug mules, were arrested separately at Tawau Airport and Kota Kinabalu International Airport in Sabah on July 30. Authorities seized over 20kg of drugs, including methamphetamine, with an estimated value of RM667,729.44. The Sabah Customs Department is investigating if the suspects are part of a larger syndicate network and may face the death penalty or life imprisonment if convicted.
