14-year-old Scarlett Vickers was found stabbed to death at her family home in Darlington. Sarah Hall, her mother, has been cleared of murder charges; her father, Simon Vickers, pleaded not guilty to murder and will face trial later this year. Both parents were initially charged with murder, but the case against Ms Hall has been discontinued.
