23-year-old NZ Army medic, Private Caroline Paulsen, credits her military training for her passion in Ironman racing. After completing 3 Ironman 70.3 races, she secured a spot in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Taupō. Her NZ Army training aided both physically and mentally, and she is set to join the Royal New Zealand Air Force, based at RNZAF Base Auckland, after her trade change.
