20-year-old Chelsea defender Alfie Gilchrist is set to join Sheffield United on loan for the 2022-2023 Championship season, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Gilchrist, who made his debut for Chelsea in December, will get more playing time at Sheffield United to further develop and prove himself to Chelsea's manager, Enzo Maresca. Sheffield United's Championship campaign begins on August 9th.
