29-year-old Alexis Alvarez was killed in a hit-and-run crash while riding a moped in Fairhaven on Saturday evening. A Chevrolet Silverado struck his moped on Main Street and fled the scene. The moped driver was critically injured and later pronounced dead at St. Luke's Hospital. The police are urging anyone with information to contact the Fairhaven Police Department, as the investigation is ongoing.
