1 year after Britain's Crooked House pub arson, 25,000 bricks salvaged for rebuilding; planning inspectorate to decide in 2025.
1 year after Britain's wonkiest pub, the Crooked House, was destroyed by a suspected arson attack, 25,000 bricks have been salvaged and could be used to rebuild the historic site. Locals formed the Save the Crooked House (Let's Get it Rebuilt) group, and an enforcement notice has been served on the owners by South Staffordshire council to rebuild the pub. A planning inspectorate hearing will decide the site's fate in 2025.
