Sri Lanka plans to expand air quality measurement centers and improve enforcement within six months.

Sri Lanka aims to expand its air quality measurement network to 100 centers within six months, in response to rising concerns. The Ministry of Transport, NBRO, and CEA are collaborating to collect and share online data. Additionally, the government plans to streamline vehicle services, provide police officers with equipment for detecting violations, and launch a WhatsApp messaging service to notify drivers of violations.
