A solo-vehicle crash on Lompoc Valley's Purisima Road Saturday night led to a man being extracted from the wreckage by firefighters, a downed power pole, and a roadside ditch incident. The driver, with moderate injuries, was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center. The toppled power pole caused a 12-hour power outage affecting 41 customers.
