NVIDIA introduces a new GeForce RTX 4070 model with GDDR6 memory due to GDDR6X shortage.

NVIDIA plans to release a new GeForce RTX 4070 model using GDDR6 memory due to a shortage of GDDR6X. The new version will have a slightly lower bandwidth of 480 GB/s, a 5% decrease compared to GDDR6X models. NVIDIA aims to maintain production of the RTX 4070 without significant delays and the new model is expected to be priced slightly lower than current GDDR6X models.
