5-month-old African cheetah cub Gamini died at India's Kuno National Park after sudden health deterioration, with a fractured vertebral column discovered. This marks the second cheetah cub fatality in two months, and the total number of cheetah fatalities since the Cheetah Reintroduction project in Sept 2022 now stands at 12. However, the remaining 25 cheetahs at KNP are healthy, and the cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.
