German chipmaker Infineon lowers full-year revenue outlook to €15bn after missing Q3 revenue expectations.

German chipmaker Infineon lowered its full-year revenue outlook after missing Q3 revenue expectations. Reporting €3.702bn ($4.04bn) instead of the forecasted €3.8bn, the company attributed the discrepancy to a slow recovery in its target markets and prolonged weak economic momentum. Infineon now expects to achieve around €15bn for the year, down from its prior guidance of €15.1bn.
