Cleveland Browns waive Gales, release injured Allen, and sign rookie safety Hicks.
The Cleveland Browns made roster changes, waiving safety Dyshawn Gales and releasing injured center Brian Allen. In their place, the Browns signed safety Faion Hicks, a 2022 seventh-round pick from Denver. Hicks previously played two games during his rookie season and spent the 2021 season on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad.
