3,000 attendees joined the inaugural Wiarton Homecoming Weekend at Bluewater Park and nearby facilities, organized as an alternative to the discontinued annual Wiarton Rotary Village Fair. The community-led event featured attractions for all ages, including a classic car show, bingo, baseball and cornhole tournaments, kids' activities, music, meals, an outdoor movie, and a drone light show. With positive feedback, organizers plan to continue holding the Homecoming Weekend annually.
