47-year-old TV host Samantha Armytage announced her departure from Channel Seven after 21 years. Her contract expires in October, and she decided against renewing it. Armytage will still appear at the upcoming Logies, where her show Farmer Wants A Wife is nominated for Best Structured Reality Program, but will not return to host its next series. Channel Seven's group managing director Angus Ross expressed support for her decision.
