70-year-old Tasmanian sheep property Logan, owned by the Peltzer family, is on the market for the first time at an estimated A$50 million. The 2,683-hectare (6,630-acre) estate, near Launceston, features a successful prime lamb operation and a gravity-fed irrigation system. The property also includes a historic 1880s homestead and various accommodation options. Prospective buyers include domestic and international corporate farming groups, institutional investors, existing landholders, and high net worth individuals. The sale is being handled by agents LAWD, with expressions of interest closing on September 12.
