20-year-old Ricardo Archundia Cruz, suspected in a hit-and-run incident in Salinas, CA, resulting in the death of a 3-year-old and injury of an adult, surrendered at San Ysidro border on 28th July. Police had been searching for him since 26th July when he fled to Mexico. Cruz turned himself in to US Customs and Border Protection agents and was then transferred to local police officers before being booked into Monterey County Jail.
