55-year-old Nino Salukvadze, a Georgian shooter, has retired from competing in the Olympics after participating in a record 10 Games. The first woman to achieve this, Salukvadze made her debut in the 1988 Seoul Olympics and continued to represent Georgia at every subsequent event until Paris 2024. A three-time Olympic medalist, she plans to coach Georgian shooters in future Olympics, depending on her athletes' progress.
