Callum Simpson, ranked #15 WBA super middleweight, won the British and Commonwealth titles by defeating defending champ Zak Chelli in a unanimous decision after a 12-round match at Oakwell Football Ground in Barnsley, England. Simpson, a local hero, outworked Chelli throughout the bout. In other matches, Caroline Dubois retained her IBO lightweight title and claimed the WBC Interim title against Uruguay's Maira Moneo.
