Stan Lai's play "River/Cloud", about two separated individuals from War of Liberation era who reunite after 40 years, tours mainland China in October.

"River/Cloud", a play by acclaimed playwright Stan Lai, known for his magnum opus "Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land", will tour mainland China starting in October. Set during the War of Liberation (1946-49), it tells the story of two separated individuals, Jiang Binliu and Yun Zhifan, who migrate to Taiwan without knowing each other's whereabouts. Forty years later, they reconnect through a newspaper notice, leading to an emotional reunion.
