RHP Jake Bird reassigned to Triple-A, Tanner Gordon recalled, Jordan Beck activated from IL, optioned to Triple-A.
The Colorado Rockies have reassigned RHP Jake Bird to Triple-A Albuquerque, recalled RHP Tanner Gordon, and activated outfielder Jordan Beck from the 10-day injured list, optioning him to Triple-A. Bird, with a 6.12 ERA, has been replaced by Gordon, who made his MLB debut last month. Beck, a top-3 prospect for Colorado, batted .190 before suffering a broken hand.
