Pittsburgh Pirates' star player Andrew McCutchen exited a game vs Arizona Diamondbacks due to left quad tightness during the 6th inning. The five-time All-Star and former NL MVP (2013), batting .228 with 13 HRs and 31 RBIs in 94 games, was injured while running to first after hitting a single to left field. Manager Derek Shelton opted not to risk further injury, and the Pirates won the game 4-2.
