3 people killed in small plane crash in Birigui, Brazil: A small plane crashed and caught fire in Birigui, a municipality in southeastern Brazil's Sao Paulo state, killing all three occupants. The accident occurred on a farm 5 km from the Senador Teotonio Vilela highway, 521 km from Sao Paulo city. Firefighters and police officers attended the scene to extinguish the flames and an investigation is now underway.
