Former UCF rower Viktorija Senkute, an epilepsy patient, won Lithuania's first Olympic medal in Paris (2024), securing a bronze in women's singles class. This was the first medal for any Baltic country at the Games. Senkute, diagnosed at 15, takes daily medication and hopes her achievement encourages others with epilepsy to pursue their dreams and show that people with the condition can live normal lives and compete at high levels.
