Oxford surgeon treats son's sarcoma, supports 'Don’t Delay' during Sarcoma Awareness Month and plans cycling fundraiser.
Oxford-based surgeon Prof. Dominic Furniss, who specializes in treating sarcoma, supported his son Jasper through a successful diagnosis and surgery for myxoid liposarcoma. The family is now backing Sarcoma UK's 'Don’t Delay' message during July's Sarcoma Awareness Month and will raise funds by cycling from Oxford to Barcelona from August 27 to September 6.
