2nd endangered reticulated giraffe calf born at Whipsnade Zoo, aiding conservation efforts.

Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire has welcomed a second endangered reticulated giraffe calf this summer, with the herd now totaling six. The newborns aid the international conservation breeding program for endangered reticulated giraffes, threatened by illegal hunting, habitat destruction, and human conflict in Africa. Whipsnade Zoo is home to 10,000 animals and supports global conservation charity ZSL's work.
