Indian startups secured $1.03B in July, due to the removal of the angel tax in the Union Budget 2024-25, with 126 deals, including 28 growth-stage deals worth $725M and 72 initial-stage deals worth $311M. Two startups each raised over $100M. Total funding in the first seven months of 2024 stands at $8B, exceeding $11B raised in 2023 and $38B in 2021, as per Entrackr's report.
