7 family members, including children, were rescued from a sinking boat on Utah Lake after a drone operator provided GPS coordinates to emergency personnel. The boat leaked near its engine, and the family, wearing life jackets, was saved by the Utah County Sheriff's Office, Lindon police, state parks staffers, and a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter. The drone's battery ran out during the rescue.
